Aprovats els pressupostos i les quotes col·legials per al 2024
A l’Assemblea del passat 13 de desembre es van aprovar per unanimitat les quotes col·legials, que es mantenen congelades un any més, i el pressupost del COOOC per al 2024.
Coincidint amb la celebració de Santa Otília, es va aprofitar per festejar la professió i el dia dels òptics i les òptiques optometristes.
Estrena exclusiva del documental ‘Juan Mariné. Un siglo de cine’
Vam estar a l’estrena exclusiva del documental Juan Mariné. Un siglo de cine, que fa un repàs a la trajectòria del reconegut director i restaurador de pel·lícules català Juan Mariné i que compta amb la col·laboració del COOOC. Per aquest motiu, vam comptar amb entrades per aquells col·legiats que van decidir assistir-hi, amb els seus acompanyants.
Amb la direcció i guió de Maria Luisa Pujol i producció de Jorge Sr. Bonet, la producció ha guanyat l’última edició del Premi Forqué en la categoria de documental.
Ens unim a La Marató de TV3
Any rere any, el COOOC col·labora en La Marató de TV3, aquesta edició dedicada a la salut sexual i reproductiva. Per una banda, la delegació de Lleida, juntament amb la Intercol·legial de salut de Lleida, va organitzar una xocolatada solidària per recaptar fons.
Per l’altra, el COOOC va fer una donació de 2.000 euros.
En total, es va recaptar 5.705.395 euros, xifra que pot augmentar fins al 31 de març, que és la data en què es tanquen les donacions.
El concert solidari de la coral de gòspel del COOOC recapta uns 900 euros
Amb motiu del desè aniversari, el passat 8 de juny, la coral de gòspel del COOOC, el Gospel Optometrist Choir, va celebrar un concert solidari a la sala Lluïsos de Gràcia (Barcelona), en què va fer un repàs a les cançons més icòniques de la formació i també va oferir interpretacions noves.
Sota la direcció d’Omar González i gràcies a la taquilla inversa, es van recaptar 893 euros, que es van destinar íntegrament a l’associació Salut sense sostre, una entitat multidisciplinària formada per professionals sanitaris que ofereixen atenció social i sanitària a persones en una situació de vulnerabilitat per dificultat d’accés a l’assistència sanitària pública.

El COOOC va col·laborar en la Nit de la Visió 2023, un sopar benèfic organitzat per la Fundació Punt de Vista i l’Associació Discapacitat Visual Catalunya: B1+B2+B3.
Més d’un centenar de persones van gaudir d’una vetllada per recaptar fons per a la investigació científica en matèria de visió. Els 8.000 euros col·lectats es destinaran a la injecció econòmica de 10.000 euros per al projecte científic d’investigació guanyador del Point of View Award
Assistim a l’acte commemoratiu del 5è aniversari de la Comissió de Dones de la Intercol·legial
El COOOC va estar present a la celebració del cinquè aniversari de la Comissió de Dones i d’Igualtat de l’associació Intercol·legial.
Sota el lema ‘Cinc anys treballant per l’equitat en el món professional’, en aquesta jornada es va posar sobre la taula tant les necessitats de les dones en l’àmbit laboral com la tasca desenvolupada pels col·legis professionals en aquest àmbit. D’aquesta manera, s’ha aprofitat l’ocasió per reclamar una estratègia transversal entre administracions per promoure la igualtat.
La Intercol·legial és l’entitat que representa 90 col·legis professionals i aglutina més de 200.000 col·legiats i col·legiades de tots els sectors.

El COOOC ha donat suport a la campanya ‘Say Yes’ de la Plataforma per la Llengua per aconseguir que el català es converteixi en la 25a llengua oficial de la Unió Europea.
Amb l’oficialitat s’obtindrà protecció legal, el seu ús es convertirà en un dret ciutadà i polític, i s’aconseguirà més visibilitat i projecció internacional.
